Welcome to Bunnell, FL!

 

Bunnell is the County Seat for Flagler County, one of the oldest communities along the east coast of Florida. Named after an early resident, Alvah A. Bunnell, a shingle maker and supplier of wood to the area’s fledging rail industry. It was incorporated in 1913 and is the seat of Flagler county. Bunnell is rich in history and intrigue and is home to a variety of parks, recreation areas and natural attractions.

 

The city is known for it’s eye towards the future as part of one of the fastest growing counties in Florida, and holds dear the countenance of the past. The small town spirit and pride may be felt as you wander through the unique City and meet the residents of Bunnell, who will gladly “spin yarns” of the days gone by and excitedly speak to the future plans for the community.

 

Currently, the City is the second largest in land mass in the State of Florida and is home to approximately 3,507 residents.
